I have held a range of positions in Universities — as visiting professor, lecturer, research fellow, creative consultant, research and development officer, secondment to museum partners, and more. Most of this work has involved the fostering of interdisciplinary practice through my own research and teaching or through the brokering of partnerships between science, arts and humanities departments and external collaborators and institutions. Participating in the development and governance of new research centres is an integral part of my commitment to the resourcing of creative intellectual freedoms. I am particularly interested in university museums — key ‘laboratories’ for the 21st Century.
